PARIS, FRANCE- The upperdeck of the Dior Spa Cruise.
Dior not only does fashion and beauty well, but it also does cruises. Not totally but close. The famed French Maision’s beauty department has recently unveiled the Dior Spa Cruise that started on July 3rd and will go until the 14th. It’s everything you’d imagine a summer wellness cruise to be and more.
This is the second year of the cruise and with success the first-go-round, why not give it another go has been the Maison’s thinking. Dior Beauty isn’t stopping with boats, they’re also doing trains. Partnering with Belmond trains, they have the Dior Spa Royal Scotsmen that travels across Scotland. It’s no surprise that Christian Dior himself had a fondness for Scotland. In 1955 he held a runway show there.
Coinciding with the autumn-winter 2023-24 Haute Couture Week, the cruise picks up at Port Henri IV near Ile Saint-Louis. The 2-hour journey offers a luxury experience on the River Seine, while giving some of the best Dior Beauty cultivated experiences that the Maision has to offer. The cruise lasts for two hours and focuses on detox, balance, reverse aging, power and relaxation.

As you enter the yacht, you’re met with dark wood tones- the way you envision a yacht to be. Inside there is a bar with healthy drinks and light canapés. The seating area is oh-so Dior of taupe tones with a beige rug, off white sofa, and Dior pillows that match the soft palette. Pink and lilac flower bouquets are placed through the space, and the latest Dior Beauty products are also on display.
When guests first enter they are given “Glow Shots,” a beauty elixir with eau de rose, Sakura, Collagen, and Acérola. For those who book treatments, someone from the spa staff will direct guests back for their one-hour facial or massage, or one-hour well-being activity that ranges from Pilates, respirology, and postural stretching, yoga flow, mobility, and detox flow.
Treatments
There are five treatments that the Maison offers:
The Detox treatment will be offered on 13th. It’s an essential reboot to eliminate toxins, and enjoy a healthy new start. The slimming new look massage redefines contours, while the detox juice and detox flow class focus on fluid and free movement. The next session is on July 13th and will provide a source of fitness and energy. Thanks to toxin elimination, the body is honed and the mind is free.

The next Balance treatment runs July 11th. Providing a healthy break focusing on balance to restore energy, its energizing body massage, customized juices and yoga flow that takes place on the upper deck provides rejuvenation. Guests are left looking and feeling balanced again.
The Reverse-Aging treatment runs July 12th and 14th. It’s a youth and longevity treatment promising complete relaxation for the skin and the mind. The Dior prestige haute précision facial treatment that draws on the anti-ageing resources of the granville rose to sculpt the facial contours and illuminate the face, or a body massage, plus antioxidant juices and a mobility class, focuses on flexibility and injury prevention. It’s a source of rejuvenation for both body and soul.
The Relaxation treatment is a liberating excursion to let go and release the mind. The constellation body massage with slow, enveloping strokes, serenity juice and a session of respirology and postural stretching is for intense relaxation and overall mindfulness.
The Power treatment is a journey to help guests center themselves and regain vitality and self-confidence. It’s an invigorating deep tissue d-tissue body massage that releases tension and drains the tissues. And, the kobi-Dior facial treatment, plus Pilates flow develops power and stability. This treatment increases strength and vitality both physically, boosting energy levels.
The upperdeck
After your one-hour treatment guest retire to the upper deck to relax in the sun. Throughout the boat is the Maison’s signature Toile de Jouy print of blue and beige, as well as the Dior canework. This part of the yacht is total relaxation with layout deck chairs, two-seater sofas, tropical plants, and a sitting pool.
Guests are bought healthy snacks like a fruit bowl, a chocolate and nut bar, and a choice of detox juices and smoothies- like the lavender smoothie. The cruise route is scenic from Port Henri IV, to the Statue of Liberty that’s behind the Ile Aux Cygnes, then to the Bibliothéque National de France, then it passes by the Notre Dame Cathedral and goes under bridges. It’s a feel-good moment in the kinesthetic energy of Paris.

The Dior Solor line offers sun protection products.
The Maison has recently unveiled a new collection for sun care protection, known as their Dior Solor line. The Protective Cream with an SPF 50, comes in an 50mL bottle for $47, the Protective milk of SPF 30 is in a 125mL bottle for $52, the Sublimating oil in the 125mL bottle is $72, the after-sun balm is in a 150mL bottle for $54, and the self-tanning gel in a 50ml bottle is $54.
